HELLO!

I’m Irene Stone, a fully qualified counsellor (BA Hons) and NLP coach with over 20 years of experience. My passion lies in helping people navigate life’s ups and downs and empowering them to grow.

I’m originally from Zurich, Switzerland, and have lived in places like Geneva, San Francisco, and Hamburg. These experiences have enriched my understanding of different cultures and made me passionate about creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all my clients. I believe that everyone deserves to feel understood and respected, and it’s important to me that you feel comfortable and valued in our work together.

Before I found my calling in counselling, I worked in the music industry as an international marketing manager in Switzerland, Germany, and the UK. It was a fascinating experience that deepened my love for connecting with people on a personal level. This shift toward counselling felt natural, as I wanted to make a more direct impact on people’s lives. Continuous learning and self-development are important to me, as they allow me to offer the best support to my clients.

My journey into counselling started at the Metanoia Institute in London, where I trained as a person-centred counsellor. Along the way, I’ve also qualified in couples counselling, somatic trauma work, integrative supervision, cognitive hypnotherapy, and Neurolinguistic Programming. A highlight of my career has been co-facilitating a unique stress management course at Brunel University London, helping students manage exam stress.

I offer both face-to-face and online sessions, reaching clients across the UK and Europe. My approach is all about creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, emotional challenges, or just looking for direction, I’m here to help you uncover your strengths and live a more fulfilling life.

If you’re curious about how we might work together, I offer a free phone consultation. It’s a chance for us to chat about what you’re looking for and how I can support you on your journey.
