HELLO!

My name is Irene Stone

I am a fully qualified counsellor (BA Hons) and nlp coach with over 15 years of experience helping people break through limiting thought patterns and behaviours that keep them dissatisfied with their lives.

Before training as a person-centred counsellor at the Metanoia Institute in London, I’ve worked in the music industry as an international marketing manager for Polygram in Switzerland and Germany and then in the UK for Universal Music International.

Having had the pleasure of working closely with many top international artists, such as Stevie Wonder, Brian Adams, Bon Jovi, it became clear to me that my true passion lays in working with people on a personal level. Guiding and supporting them in making positive changes in their lives and fostering empowerment on an individual basis. This led me on a path of learning and self development which is ongoing and assisting my ability to work with my clients.

Since starting my counselling career in 2002 I’ve gained further qualifications (see below) in couples counselling, somatic trauma work, integrative supervisor, cognitive hypnotherapist and Neurologist Linguistic Programming master  practitioner as well as co-facilitating a range of workshops, including a unique stress management course at Brunel University London to support students with exam stress.

I enjoy working with my clients either in face-to-face work or on-line, which means I get to work with clients from all over the UK and Europe.

By focussing on increasing awareness and understanding of the patterns that are keeping you feeling stuck I can offer the opportunity to address these problems in a direct, effective, and supportive manner. The goal is to bring forth your best self in order to create a more genuine and passionate life.

My work covers a wide range of individuals, from those who experience anxiety, depression and struggle with tolerating and managing difficult emotions to those who are in need of direction in their lives at home or at work.

To start our work together, I am very happy to offer a free  phone consultation where you can let me know your reasons for calling, your expectations of working with me and ask any questions you might have about how I work.
